Destination Sculpture - Research Assignment

1 – Choose and print a map of the destination of your choice.

·       Use Google Images not Maps

·       Copy and paste into a word document.  Stretch as large as you can without distorting the image

2 – Find the distance from home

·       www.travelmath.com

3 – Find at least 3 “fun facts” about your destination

·       Be sure it is a FACT not an OPINION/OBSERVATION

·       Choose facts that you will be able to represent with images on your clay sculpture.

4 – (Optional) Create a second document with images to be used as reference when

sculpting with clay

·       Print one page with all your images rather not multiple sheets of paper.

The end of the 1st quarter is Friday, Oct 14th. All 3D Art assignments are due.  Make sure you do whatever you need to do in order to finish your projects! You are in charge of your own effort.
