FAQs

Q: When is my assignment Due?
A: By the end of the quarter.  Students are given five classes to sculpt projects.  If additional time is needed, students are encouraged to take the work home, come in during study hall, or stay after school to finish the assignments.  All projects are due by the end of the quarter.

Q: What are we doing today?
A: Each class will begin with an introduction.  The introduction will explain the agenda for the day.  Learning targets will always be posted on the white board which tells students what the objective is for each day.

Q: How do grades work?
A: Students self-evaluate their art based on a 50pt rubric provided at the beginning of each project.  Mr. Driscoll evaluates the project based on the same 50pt rubric.  The combined total is the final score based on the traditional 100pt scale.

Q: How is vocabulary taught during 3D Art?
A: Each class begins with an introduction.  During the introduction one or more art terms are discussed.  Students add the terms to a study guide.  Once completed, the study guide is used to prepare for the final exam (administered during the last week of the quarter).

Q: What if I lose my vocabulary study guide?
A: Mr. Driscoll will post the vocabulary list prior to the final exam on the blog: www.bms3dart.blogspot.com
